How We Started
VETtoCEO’s founders began voluntarily training veterans and active duty personnel in June 2012 at Fort Bragg, NC. We delivered four 10-week courses in an online-only format, and two courses in a combination of in-class and online format. Throughout 2012 we trained over 100 active duty, reserve component, and veteran soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines across the country.
Based on feedback from veteran participants, and input from advisors and other stakeholders, we developed our programs to better serve the unique needs of aspiring veteran entrepreneurs.
VETtoCEO, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports veterans and transitioning military members to succeed in business ownership. Our entrepreneurial community, with its training resources and guidance, assists veterans in leveraging their skills to start or buy a business and run it successfully.
VETtoCEO’s programs are designed and facilitated by experienced entrepreneurs who are also veterans, exclusively for veterans of all branches. We offer the program free of charge to qualified/verified members of the military and veterans. We fund our programs through the generosity of leading corporations, grants, and individuals who have a passion for helping veterans.
